We are a rural community primary school situated in the village of Old Buckenham, Norfolk. As a primary school we have always catered for the age range 4 to 11, We have seven classes: one for each academic year, which enables us to deliver the EYFS and National Curriculum to classes containing single age ranges.

Our Early Years children have been so excited this week, as they have visited our lambs and our ewe during their choosing time. They were really keen to measure out the food and care for our new arrivals. Getting up close for cuddles is the best. #LAL26 #LAL #LearnaboutLivestock

Science club really enjoyed a special feeding session with our lambs afterschool in the sunshine! They made amazing observational drawings of the animals and had so many questions for us! What a great afterschool club experience! #LearnaboutLivestock #LAL #LAL26

We had the best week last week, engaging with the #LearnaboutLivestock event, with such great enrichment opportunities for our children. A huge thank you to Frances, Katie and Mollie, who delivered an interactive and educational assembly outside in the sunshine on Wednesday! #LAL

✈️ Willow Class STEM Day! Our 26 young scientists investigated which paper airplane design flies the furthest. We made predictions, created a fair test, and explored forces including push, gravity, air resistance and lift. Lots of fantastic testing and scientific thinking!

We have arrived at Thorpe woodlands safely and the children have had a wonderful day. We have completed team challenges, started our activities and are now sharing jokes around the campfire!
